Click to go to JUNIORS: League Ages 14 and 13 Traditional baseball: Home games will be played on Alta Laguna 90’ diamond. Youths participating in CIF baseball may play after the end of the CIF baseball season but MUST REGISTER by January 1, 2012. This program will involve inter-league play and travel to other cities. Instruction is integrated with the LBHS baseball program. This program is designed to accommodate players league age 13 and 14. An additional fee for batting cages may be required by the manager. MAJORS: League Ages 12,11 and 10 Traditional Little League rules except players bat through the order and free substitution in the field. Games played at Riddle Field on weekday evenings and Saturdays. All returning Majors players from last season will play in Majors this season. All league age 11-12 players are in the Majors draft pool. All age 12 players will be selected to play in majors unless there is a safety risk determined by the LBLL Board. A league age 10 player must notify the league if they want to be eligible for the Majors draft pool. Only one league age 10 player will be drafted per team. All players must go through skill check and teams are redrafted each year. An additional fee may be charged for the batting cages. AAA: League Ages 11, 10, 9 and 8 Traditional Little League rules except players bat through the order and free substitution in the field. Games are played at Riddle Field weekday evenings and Saturdays. A league age 8 player must notify the league if they want to be eligible for the AAA draft. Only one league age 8 player will be drafted per team. All players must go through skill check and teams are redrafted each year. . An additional fee may be charged for the batting cages held away from Riddle Field. AA: League Ages 10, 9, 8 and 7 Youth pitch: All players play in the infield for at least two innings per game. Teams will bat through the order. Games will be on weekday evenings and Saturdays. A league age 7 player must notify the league if they want to be eligible for the AA draft. Only one league age 7 player will be drafted per team. All players must go through skill check and teams are redrafted each year. Additional fees for batting cage practices may be requested. ROOKIE: League age 9,8 and 7 Machine/youth pitch. Machine pitch for the first half of the season with transition to youth pitch. Games played on Saturdays and one or two practices per week. Players do not go through skills check and the league puts the teams together. A COACH PITCH League Ages 6 and 7 (age 6 eligible only if played LBLL tee ball last season) Coach pitched with a softer flexi-ball and all players play in the field every inning with transition to machine pitch mid season. Games played on Saturdays with maybe one weekday game. Players league age 6 who played tee ball last season in Little League may play in this division. No league age 5 year olds allowed in coach pitch. Players do not go through skill check and the league puts the teams together. TEE BALL: League Ages 6,5 and 4 Players hit the ball from a positioned tee and all players play in the field every inning. The emphasis is on FUN and to teach fundamental baseball skills. Players who played teeball at league age 4 must play teeball again at league age 5. Players do not go through skill check and the league puts the teams together. CHALLENGER: PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY CHALLENGED YOUTHS: In conjunction with Little League District 55, a program for physically and mentally challenged youths is available. No skills check required.
